With winter near in Ireland, summer clothes should be going out. For autumn and winter fashion, think long sleeve shirt dresses and fitted sweaters. So take the time to sort out your wardrobe design and make the most of the coming season. Start by determining what you are going to keep and what items need to be stored away or which pieces can be donated.
Let go of worn or damaged items and any unfashionable clothing. Store away lighter seasonal clothes to make room for your stylish winter wear. That includes sundresses, shorts, swimsuits and other sleeveless clothing. Put them all up on higher shelves or down below in bins. Is there no room left in your wardrobe space? Organise your clothes neatly into different sized plastic bins to place them under your bed, up in your attic, or in your basement. Then label the bins so you can easily transition back into your summer wear, and you could even go so far as to sort your clothes by colour or style.
Whether for your bedroom or your hallway, having adequate space for winter wear is essential. Think of innovative hall storage solutions, like bespoke sliding doors and custom shelving. Create the space with your own personal winter tales wardrobe design in mind, so all your specific winter blankets, accessories, and clothes are visible, so they will be easy to find and ready to wear.
Organisation is key. Install shelves, cubbies, coat hooks and tie racks. Put all of your accessories in order, so ties, belts or scarves are all neatly organised on hooks or in compartments. For hats, use vertical hooks for each to layer over one another and save space, and for ties, use a specific tie rack with a hook for each tie. Hooks are also a great way to store your jewelry. The best design keeps everything readily available, so it's easy to look through your accessories to find what you need. Make it simple for grab and go, rather than having to rifle through boxes or piles on top shelves.
"The defining issue for me was that everybody was extremely interested and committed to the project. It was down to the hands-on approach by all [Martin, Joe & Aine] that transformed my kitchen into what it is today. Very helpful and pleasant to work with in meeting the needs of our family"
"I had drafted up the initial design myself of roughly where I wanted the range and cooker etc, Martin/Timbercraft worked around this rough design. They really exceeded my expectations as to the finished kitchen and helped materialise what I was looking for. Having been admired by friends and family alike, several people have already ordered one of their own."
