If you have a two story residence, chances are you are not lacking space. Even so, creating smart storage or relaxation spots in areas that you are not otherwise using will be fun as well as practical. Today, we are going to offer you some ideas for the space under the stairs.

 

A wardrobe under the stairs

 

The wardrobe under the stairs can replace your usual hallway storage (where you store shoes, coats, umbrellas etc.) or can serve as a secondary storage unit for when your bedroom wardrobe can’t take much more.

Are you an avid reader? If so, this idea is for you! The space under the stairs can be brilliantly used to accommodate your favourite volumes.

Relaxation spot

 

If you’re not storing your books under the stairs, perhaps you can read one there. It sounds a bit odd, we know, but you can create a great relaxation spot under the stairway.

A stocked bar is a great addition to any party, but in the rest of the time, your beverages shouldn’t stay on display. Create a bar under the stairs and install doors that you can close whenever you want to hide it.
