Should you choose a fully fitted wardrobe or a freestanding wardrobe? Here are the advantages and disadvantages of each type of wardrobe.
Freestanding Wardrobes
Freestanding wardrobes are designed to move around. If you like to rearrange your room on a regular basis, this may be the right choice for you. However, they may not be able to take advantage of your space as efficiently as a fully fitted wardrobe.
Fully Fitted Wardrobes
Fully fitted wardrobes are designed to stay where they are placed. This allows them to be built to your exact needs and specifications. You can have it designed to go wall to wall and floor to ceiling. They also look like they are made to be a part of your home, instead of looking like a piece of furniture. It will also look different than anyone else’s. A fully fitted wardrobe will be unique to your home. This also gives a much more personal touch to your room than a freestanding wardrobe. You also have your choice of materials and colours.
The disadvantages of a fitted wardrobe are that once it is there, it can’t be moved. If you want to rearrange things or you end up moving, the wardrobe will have to stay where it is.
