Men and women have different needs, and this goes for their wardrobes as well. Here are some fitted wardrobe ideas designed just for men.
Place for Formal/Business Attire
Finding items in your wardrobe will be much easier if it is broken down into specific areas for each item. You will want an area to hang your dress shirts, pants and jackets. Consider having two hanging rods one over the other to make maximum use of your available space.
Casual Wear
Casual wear can easily be stored on shelves. This makes your clothing easier to put away and takes up less space. It is also an easy way to separate your jeans and sweats from your suits.
Rails for Belts and Ties
The simplest way to keep your ties and belts easy to find and organised is to use rails. You can install them on the wall of your wardrobe or on the inside of the door to maximise space. Simply hang your belts and ties on the rail. They will be out of the way and easy to find when you need them.
Drawers
Drawers are essential for your underwear and socks. Keep a separate drawer for each. You may even want to have a separate drawer for dress socks to make them easier to find when you are getting ready in the morning.
Not a Morning Person
If you aren’t a morning person, have a specific spot in your wardrobe where you can put your clothes for the next day. This can be a shelf or even a dressing table. Laying your clothes out at night can make your mornings go much more smoothly.
"The defining issue for me was that everybody was extremely interested and committed to the project. It was down to the hands-on approach by all [Martin, Joe & Aine] that transformed my kitchen into what it is today. Very helpful and pleasant to work with in meeting the needs of our family"
"I had drafted up the initial design myself of roughly where I wanted the range and cooker etc, Martin/Timbercraft worked around this rough design. They really exceeded my expectations as to the finished kitchen and helped materialise what I was looking for. Having been admired by friends and family alike, several people have already ordered one of their own."
