Fitted wardrobes are a great storage option. They help you take advantage of existing space, as well as improve the look of the room. The key is selecting the right style and build for your needs and decor.

 

Skip the Drawers

 

If you already have a bedside table or chest of drawers, you may want to leave drawers out of your wardrobe. Go with cabinets, shelves, and hanging space. Drawers can add to the price of the wardrobe, and restrict your options. So think outside the box, and the drawers.

 

Room for Two

 

If you share a bedroom with your significant other, you may find yourselves arguing over who gets what wardrobe space. You can combat this by having two separate wardrobes, or turn an entire wall into a wardrobe if you have the space. There will be plenty of room for both of you.

Mirror

 

You may have seen mirrored doors on wardrobes, but what about a mirror as part of the wardrobe itself? If you are going for a wall sized fitted wardrobe, consider designing a vanity with a mirror in the centre. You will still be able to maximize space, and add beauty and functionality as well.

 

Light It Up

 

Consider adding some led strip lighting inside your wardrobe. In limited light it can be hard to distinguish colours, and it is harder to find what you are looking for. Illuminating your wardrobe will make your life easier.
