Your wardrobe sets the tone for the rest of your room, so you should do some careful planning when you are deciding what type to choose. Here’s some tips on how to choose the perfect walk in wardrobe for you.
First you should consider your needs. What type of storage do you need? Do you have lots of items that need to be hung up? Do you have 50 pairs of shoes? Will you require lots of drawers or shelves?
Now it’s time to consider where it will be going. Whether it’s going in your bedroom or another room, you need to decide on the exact space you would like it to go. Our design service can help you with figuring out where it should go and measuring the area.
If you have the room and the budget, you can make your walk in wardrobe quite luxurious. Leaving an area for dressing inside of your wardrobe with a comfortable bench gives you a sense of luxury and function. You can also add a mirror to the back of your wardrobe doors so that you have a mirror when you are dressing.
When you are considering the style of your wardrobe, there are a few trends that are really hot right now. One is glass doors. These can be mirror, frosted, or etched glass. Frosted and etched glass give you lots of opportunities to put your own touches on the design. The other trend is wood. Wood is classic and timeless. It will never go out of style.
